Application Guidelines and What We Fund

ACCF funds both general operating support and project support for activities within the City of Atlantic City that improve the conditions and quality of life for all who live, work and play in AC.  

A wide variety of organizational missions and projects will be considered for funding but every project supported by ACCF will need to demonstrate that it will enhance the community. 

We are especially interested in projects that fall under the following areas:   

  • Education;

  • Community services; 

  • Youth programs;

  • Senior programs; 

  • Arts and culture;

  • Parks and recreation;

  • Urban renewal.

What we do NOT fund: 

  • Lobbying or political activities;

  • Building renovations and facility construction;

  • Capital campaigns and projects; 

  • Fundraising appeals, special events, and sponsorships;

  • Scholarships and individual sponsorships;

  • Field Trips, unless part of a larger educational or developmental effort;

  • Sports activities, unless part of a larger educational, development, or neighborhood effort;

  • Fraternal and religious activities;

  • Municipal services including essential police and fire services.

In 2025, grants ranged from $1,000 up to $5,000

To be eligible to apply for funding, each applicant must meet the following criteria: 

  • The organization or group applying for funding must be based in Atlantic City;

  • The project must take place in Atlantic City;

  • The organization must have IRS 501(c)3 status or the group must have a fiscal sponsor; 

  • Must demonstrate that the project will have a positive impact on Atlantic City. 

The 2025 Grant Schedule is as follows: (Grant Cycle Closed)

  • January 2, 2025 - grant cycle opens for receiving applications

  • March 31, 2025* (5pm) - Deadline extended for submitting grant applications

  • May 15, 2025 - date grant awards are anticipated to be announced
